10mm Dia Magnetic Pins
10mm Dia Magnetic Pins
A pack of 24 Whiteboard Magnets, also called Magnetic Pins, and sometimes called Fridge Magnets.
Quantity: 24
Size: 10mm diameter at the base and 18mm tall
Pole location:
On the flat face, half of them have a south pole and half have a north pole, so they can be used as attracting-pairs to clamp items together, say for gluing.
Pull/Push:
In ideal situations their pull is up to 800g.
Each can hold up to 10 A4 sheets of paper or 6 playing cards.
Notes:
Unlike those sold in The Warehouse and other shops, these are super strong for their size, because:
- This type of magnet never weakens with age.
- Inside each pin is a neodymium magnet which is 10 times stronger than an equivalent sized, traditional ferrite magnet.
- Unlike most whiteboard magnets on the market, they never lose their pulling power over time.
- Easy to grip and move, being 10mm diameter at the base and 18mm tall.
- Four colours - black/white/blue/red. Six of each colour in each pack.
- Highly durable plastic. Not brittle like most of the shop-sold fridge magnets.
- I have many other options for applications like whiteboards, depending on your application.
e.g: Disks are flat but challenging to remove unless you use a stack of them as a removal tool. My longer cylinder magnets are super strong but are made easier to remove if stacked in pairs. Consider D6x6mm.
Potential Uses:
- Fridge magnet to hold paper up
- Clamping sheets of paper together while glueing
Safety Information
Safety Information
Neodymium magnets are incredibly strong for their size, so please handle them with care.
- Keep away from children. Two or more magnets, if swallowed, can attract to each other inside the body and cause serious, potentially life-threatening injury. Seek immediate medical attention if a magnet is swallowed.
- Watch your fingers. Magnets snap together with real force and can pinch skin or damage clothing.
- Wear eye protection. The material is brittle and can chip or shatter on impact, so take care during handling and avoid letting magnets collide freely.
- Keep clear of sensitive electronics. Credit cards, pacemakers, and other magnetically sensitive devices should be kept a safe distance from the magnetic field.
Why Buy From Dangerous Magnets
Why Buy From Dangerous Magnets
We're New Zealand's specialist supplier of neodymium (rare earth) magnets, based in Auckland and trading since 2009.
- Auckland-based and NZ-owned. A genuine New Zealand trader you can deal with directly.
- 5000+ positive Trademe reviews. A track record built on honest dealing and consistent service.
- 45+ sizes in stock, from small discs to heavy-duty blocks.
- Engineer-led advice. Our team holds qualified mechatronics engineering degrees, so the guidance you get is grounded in real technical knowledge, not guesswork.
- Quality you can rely on. Many bargain-priced magnets sold online are lower grade than advertised (often N35 instead of N45 or N52) or aren't genuine neodymium at all, so the "strong magnet" you ordered underperforms. We work with long-standing suppliers we trust, and we stand behind the grade and strength of every magnet we sell.
